...how did you get it? what does it mean? or what does it mean to you?

okay... this name I use here was made up by my former lover... that's what he called me since the very day we met (although he probably shouldn't have done that as he was attached by that time ^^; )
we had a special way of talking, there was a lot of supernatural stuff included etc.
and I really liked that name, so I kept it even though things between us are no longer what they used to be... but he's still important for me as I'm for him and in fact it was him who made me start writing this dark stuff and metal lyrics :blackrose:
so here we go, that's my deviant name :la:

what's the story behind yours?

Mine is actually a nickname given to me by my grandfather, as a child. Even as an adult he still called me 'cherybery' I know it's a cheesy screen name but he meant the world to me

When I was 16 I broke my neck diving. I should not have lived, let alone walk or live anything close to I am now. It was the nickname given to me by the doctors who treated me in the ICU. My name marks the end of one life. And the beginning of another. In a way that name is everything I am today.

okay, you get a big WOW for this!
I have a friend who worked as an instructor of diving, now he makes more of these adventurous activities (and I keep telling him I'm afraid of diving and he says it's fun and safe, hmmmm)
may I ask, how you made it back into life? what you said sounds like a miracle

I don't really know. Most of the few days between and on the way to hospitals and such are lost to me. I remember parts of the ICU. Waking up to my parents the my first night. Being tottally alone at another point. I think it was lunch and all the nurses had left. Worst few hours of my life. My best guess is that someone was watching out for me. When my neck broke it broke in such a way that it was still stable. I was out of the neck brace in a month with almost full range of motion. And when something like that happens your life will change. Being so close to death in more than one way changes your outlook on life. You become more appreciative of what you have. Its really something
