Two Pairs Of Wings

Drowning in twilight
The world
That usually is so
Full and noisy
Now has become empty and very very silent

Not a single move
You can see when you
Take a look around
The time stopped its flow
The space is frozen

The only two hearts beating
Are now mine and yours
We were given a moment
But we will make that moment
To eternity

In darkness thickening all around
Following the need to
Get closer to each other
As if there was an
Abyss
Between us
We take tiny steps
Those will bring us
To a place where dreams are born
Where everything starts
And passion never ends

I am trying to find a way to there
When I comb your hair with my fingers
With a gentle move you lift my chin
And kiss me so lightly
As if I was a snowflake
That you wouldn't like to melt with your lips

Our eyes meet and
Talk to each other's
Mine say:
Please don't hurt me
Let me trust you and don't disappoint me…
Yours say:
Please don't leave me
Do not betray me and never let me down when I fall…

Your lips then speak:
No, I will not hurt you my love,
Let me take care of you and protect you always
With me you are safe
And I reply:
Yours I am my dearest, I will not leave you
My soul lies in your hands and should I ever  
Cause you sorrow, your pain would kill me

That picture makes a single tear
Fall out of my eye
That tear now rolls down my face
So you press your own cheek
Towards mine
And you say:
See I want to share with you
Even the tears you cry
This is how much I love you

Then there are only two pairs of wings
To see – yours black, mine white
Covering us and shielding us from the sight
Of the blind world
Where hearts are often cold
And love is almost dead
But ours is too much alive
Hidden under these silky feathers
Where two bodies are burning
Two hearts beating in one rhytm
And two souls have finally become one
